Summary: This document provides technical information about the extension called Security for Java (com.castsoftware.securityforjava).

Description

The Security for Java (com.castsoftware.securityforjava) extension automatically generates JEE specific bytecode (also known as "CASTIL") for the User Input Security feature that is part of CAST AIP. The bytecode is generated when a snapshot is generated and is then stored in the Large Intermediate Storage Area (LISA).

The extension can be downloaded on its own as a standalone extension.

Configuration

RAM requirements

CAST highly recommends that the host machine is configured with at least 32GB of RAM to ensure best performance during an analysis.
